2009	May	At the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of TCL Communication held on 12 May, Dr. Yang Xingping was elected as executive Director and Mr. Wong Toe Yeung was re-elected as a non-executive Director and to hold office until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting.
	March	The Board of the Company announced on March 25 that
		Dr. Yang Xingping, Charles has been appointed as an executive director and the CEO of the Company with effect from 1 April 2009 until the conclusion of the2009 AGM, he will offer himself for election at the 2009 AGM. Mr. Wong Toe Yeung will resign as the CEO with effect from 1 April 2009 and will retire as an executive director of the Company at the conclusion of the 2009 AGM. He will offer himself for re-election as a non-executive director at the 2009 AGM. Dr. Liu Fei will retire as an executive director of the Company at the conclusion of the 2009 AGM.
2008	Nov	On November 6th, 2008,the Board of Directors of TCL Communication Technology Holdings Limited announced the business restructuring of the Company:The company business is to be operated and managed under two brands, namely Alcatel brand business and TCL brand business;Mr. Wong Toe Yeung is appointed as CEO of the Company, and Dr. Liu Fei is appointed as President of Alcatel brand business.
	May	TCL Mobile Communication (HOHHOT) Co., Ltd. and JRD Communication Inc.(Shenzhen) have passed the final audit of TUV Rheinland Cert GmbH in May 2008 and obtained the ISO9001 Certification. The certifications include Chinese version and English version, and the certification number is 01100074608 and validates till April 22nd, 2011.
	Apr	TCL Communication Technology Holdings Limited announced the financial result for the three months ended 31 March 2008, the Group’s unaudited consolidated revenue amounted to HK$1,214 million (2007: HK$1,019 million), representing a year-on-year increase of 19% as compared to the same period last year.
		TCL U398 has gained the entry-net permit for telecom equipments of TD-SCDMA / GSM dual-mode digital mobile phones by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
	Mar	TCL brand new strategy/product launching conference was held in Intercontinental Hotel, Shenzhen City, restarted the feminine handset brand MBO, first launched 4 models of mobile phones with the combination design idea of Chinese cheongsam concept and modern fashion elements, and invited China Engraved Pillar Movie Queen Bingbing Li to act as the spokeswoman.
	Feb	TCL communication issued annual report, the net profit is HKD 33,060,000 in the whole 2007 year, with the growth rate is 120%.The sales volume is 11,910,000pcs, with the growth rate is 4%.
		TCL communication relied on the fashionable and valuable products、healthy and steady operation, won the trust from the global important operator T-Mobile, in the moment, both sides signed the cooperation agreement. This is the significant progress symbol of TCL Comm. ODM business, in 2008, TCL Comm. will obtain unprecedented development on ODM business hopefully, which will be the company new growth point.
2007	Oct	TCL Communication Technology Holdings is pleased to announce its first 3G ALCATEL handset.
	Jun	TCL Communication won the title of "Customer Service Satisfaction Award" and "Service Quality Award" in the "2007 Annul Convention of China Mobile Phone Service and the 8th CCID Press Conference of China Mobile Phone User Service Survey", which was held in Beijing.
	May	TCL Communication purcahsed a total of 61.46% of the issued share capital of JRDC together with the existing 38.54% shares; JRDC become a 100% owned subsidiary of the Company.
	Apr	TCL Communction announced the increase of authorised capital from HK$ 800million to HK$ 2 billion by creation of additional 12 Billion new shares.
	Mar	TCL Communication entered into Subscription Agreement on 19 March 2007 with DBS pursuant to which DBS agreed to subscribe for the Convertible Bonds at an aggregate principle amount of US$45 million.
2006	Dec	According to CCID, TCL Communication shipment ranked No 8 in global mobile market.
	Oct	Formation of finance JV with TCL Group and The Bank of East Asia to improve company`s cost efficiency in finance and treasury activities
	Sep	TCL Corporation announced a new Visual Identity to enhance the brand image and brand value.

	Mar	In the activity of "CCTV2006 Innovation Ceremony" Co-sponsored by State Intellectual Property Office and CCTV Economy Channel, TCL X7 mobile phone, a newly launched model, won the title of "The Best Design Award" in mobile phone category for its fashionalbe, unique and most creative figure design.
